The disability community represents the largest minority globally, yet according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment rates for individuals with disabilities are alarmingly low. Only 21.3% of individuals with disabilities are employed, contrasting the 65.4% employment rate among individuals without disabilities (source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).
These statistics highlight a significant disparity, and this is where The Shane & Pepper Candle Company and our Foundation step in.
